Love staying at Colonial Court! I grew up coming to Lake George, and it’s nice to have the option of a place to stay and bring our dog. The owners and staff are very friendly and take the time to learn the names of both their human and canine guests. The rooms are clean, cozy, perfectly sized. There’s a great covered area by the pool (yup, even the dogs can come swim!) with a grill and ping pong for a fun night in or when it’s rainy. The main courtyard is gravelly, but there is a grassy area for dogs to do business (ours is always a little hesitant, probably because of all the other dogs marking it). It’s a perfect little getaway for humans and animals!

Stayed here with my fiancé and our cats and we had an amazing time. We stayed in a cottage and there was plenty of space for us along with a kitchen that was fully equipped for making pancakes in the morning! Also we got to enjoy the pool as well. Besides the awesome amenities the staff and owner was extremely nice and helpful. Would 100% recommend for anyone with a family and pets. We will definitely be staying here again.

My partner and I stayed for a long weekend this July. At first, we were a little skeptical because coming from NJ the word "motel" has negative associations but this place exceeded our expectations! The cottages were beautiful, clean, and spacious. And when they said pet friendly they really meant pet friendly! Our pup was welcomed/encouraged to roam the courtyard and even jump in the pool. April, the owner, and her assistant Kristen were extremely hospitable and kind, they always made sure we were well taken care of. If you want to spend some quality time with your pet, visit Colonial Court!

Colonial Court is the only place I will ever stay in Lake George. April and Rick the owners are so accommodating and friendly. The best part? All 4 of my dogs can come and be a part of the trip. They swim in the pool, play with other dogs and they are safe and secure. The cabins, poolhouse and rooms all are clean, cool and simple. They also have dog care services available when you go off to the lake or to shop/eat. There is a large common area to BBQ, play ping pong and awesome for families too!! It is my favorite place to be. I look forward to this so much every year and I am so sad when I leave.

This place is extremely dog friendly! We were able to let our dog wonder around without having to worry about him getting out since the entire area is fenced in. We stayed in one of the cabins, which is small but not terribly inconvenient. Cabin #10 has two bedrooms (1- full size bed, 2- twin size bed), a bathroom, a small equip kitchen, and a small living space (couch pulls out for a bed as well). The grounds are kept very nicely and maintained on a daily basis (no dog poop!). The cabin was clean and there was no evidence that a dog had stayed there previously; the staff cleans and shampoos everything after a guest leaves. It was too cold while we stayed to go in the pool, but it was open to all humans and pets! The pool is also maintained on a daily basis and as needed! There are barbecues set up for any of the guests to use at any time. (We had steaks and burgers while we stayed- bought at Price Chopper). If you want to bring your dog on vacation, I suggest you stay here! The owners are very nice people (with 4 dogs of their own!) who live on the property. They or their staff will take your dog out if you are not 'home' if you ask them to. Our dog, a miniature schnauzer/poodle mix had a great time. The owners gave our dog a gift bag as well, it had a tennis ball, poop bags, and a bone! All of the dogs get along and play, it's seriously adorable!
